This is a glass shower screen that Ames Glass installed in San Jose. It is held in place using polished chrome clips on the wall, u-channel on the floor and with a support bar on the top, that also serves as a shower curtain rod. 3/8″ rain glass is used.
The customer needed an attractive way to cap off the end of his bathtub and this was the solution we came up with. The rain glass obscures the end of the tub, while keeping water from leaking on the floor. The choice was made to go with a shower curtain, instead of fully enclosing the tub in glass, to make it easier for bathing his infant daughter.
